The remote control is a bit difficult to use and requires you to point it directly at the fan, but it’s very handy and useful if you need to change settings in the middle of the night. At night, it’s impossible to understand any functions other than speed unless you remember each button because each button is on the top so it’s larger and shows on and off. This is perfect for people like me. I’m a South Floridian and love running this fan. Exactly what I want on my kitchen counter. It’s the best electric fan I’ve ever owned.
